Most people don't know how to hang curtains properly, they try and stretch one panel across half the window.For best results and light blocking use multiple panels and pinch them on curtain rod (s-shape).I've had these curtains now for almost 5 years in my bedroom, pinched fashion on curtain rod and their holding up just fine even in south Florida's insane heat and sunlight.Got the drapes delivered yesterday. On Labor Day mind you. The drapes more than met my expectations. The fabric has a nice feel to it. Almost like a light velour or moleskin. Only put up one to see how it worked. They are a little long, but that is no problem. The back tabs were very easy to use. Not a speck of light came through this morning. I have five windows in our back bedroom. Love the color. Happy with purchase. Hard to find matching drapes for five window.Everyone was as expected, blocks light even in the grey white color, length and width great, not to heavy on the curtain rod and looks good!Color is not what I expected, but they are very good at blocking light. All in all a good buy.Purchased to cover plywood boarded up windows cuz new windows arrived too big. Solved the wrinkle problem by washing in warm water, hanging to dry and ironing on med low with my steam iron. Might be months before the replacement windows arrive but thing are looking better. Not true black outs but very closely woven 100% polyester.Looks good in my she shed no peeping in it saftThese are true blackout curtains. They are not sheer or semi dark.
